as a Business Architect, you will design and optimize business capabilities, products, services, and processes. You will actively collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and the target architecture.

• support the development and alignment of departmental strategies, policies, and operational processes,

• identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity,

• perform day-to-day business architecture activities in accordance with established standards and best practices,

• develop, maintain, and update business architecture artefacts, including business capabilities, products, services, and processes, ensuring alignment with the IT landscape,

• create business architecture models and high-level designs that clearly illustrate system interactions and end-to-end process flows,

• review and analyze business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, and process workflows to assess architectural impact and define target-state solutions,

• translate business requirements into clear and structured technical specifications, recommending optimal solution approaches,

• collaborate closely with business, IT, and architecture teams to ensure consistency with business architecture principles and target-state designs,

• support architectural governance activities, including participation in architecture committees and RFP/RFI evaluations,

• maintain accurate and up-to-date business architecture documentation within the enterprise architecture (EA) repository,

• prepare reports, presentations, and inputs for meetings representing the business architecture function,

• ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, finance, or a related field,

• 5–8 years of professional experience as a business analyst or business architect within the banking sector,

• strong domain expertise across banking areas such as accounts and deposits, lending, cards, payments, treasury, finance, and risk,

• solid understanding of banking systems and current as well as emerging technology trends,

• proven ability to translate business requirements into clear and effective technical specifications,

• deep understanding of business architecture methodologies, frameworks, and best practices,

• ability to synthesize complex information into structured, actionable architectural artefacts,

• strong strategic, analytical, and systems-thinking capabilities,

• experience with design thinking practices and change management approaches,

• advanced level of English, both written and spoken,

• strong communication skills with attention to clarity, structure, and audience,

• enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF or BIAN preferred,

• CBAP or PMI-PBA certifications considered an additional advantage.
