Finance Specialist, General Ledger & Controlling Italian Speaker

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accounting operations in GL area according to US GAAP
  • Reconciles balance accounts
  • Prepares and posts journal entries
  • Calculates and books Accruals & Prepaids
  • Responsible for fixed assets accounting
  • Identifies and solves common cross-process (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury) issues
  • Supports internal & external audits
  • Recommends and implements process improvement ideas

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 1.5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance within R2R area, or relevant internal training as equivalent
  • Strong SAP skills in finance modules
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP
  • English and Italian at a very good level
  • Excellent user knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Good problem-solving skills and a cooperative attitude
  • Being able to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
  • High degree of proactiveness and self-reliance
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in working in a worldwide acting affiliated group
