Ops & Destination Manager – Mediterranean

(Freelance, Seasonal, Remote)

Vexperio GmbH is an international shore-excursion company creating high-quality experiences for cruise guests across Europe. We work closely with local providers and partners to deliver smooth, reliable, and memorable tours. As our Mediterranean operations continue to grow, we are looking for a hands-on Ops & Destination Manager to take ownership of our destinations across the Mediterranean region during the cruise season.You will be the operational hub for your assigned Mediterranean destinations, ensuring that our tours are planned, executed, and continuously improved to meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and guest satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate shared and private tours end-to-end (planning, execution, follow-up).
  • Arrange and manage buses, boats, guides, and local partners across Mediterranean destinations.
  • Prepare tour days (passenger lists, assignments, tickets, and operational briefings).
  • Solve operational issues in real time and ensure tours run safely and on schedule.
  • Track invoices and update internal operational overviews after each tour.
  • Improve processes, communication flows, and the on-site experience with partners and guides.

What we’re looking for (must have)

  • English minimum C1, used daily for operational coordination and internal communication.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure on busy cruise days.
  • Excellent sense of priorities, with a strong focus on safety, timing, guest experience, and revenue.
  • High reliability and ownership, with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator and relationship builder with guides, drivers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Conditions

  • Freelance, seasonal role.
  • Reduced workload in winter, high intensity during the cruise season.
  • Fully remote.
  • Availability on weekends and public holidays.

Nice to have

  • Additional languages (Italian, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, etc.) are a strong plus.
  • Experience in tourism, events, logistics, or cruise operations.
