ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Specialist to join our Credit Assessment and Decision technology team, working within a mature BizDevOps framework. This role is critical to ensuring the operational excellence, reliability, and performance of our Pega application portfolio in production environments.


KEY RESPOSIBILITIES
Operational Support & Monitoring
  • Accept, analyze, and resolve support tickets for multiple Pega applications
  • Perform monitoring of application performance, system health, and business processes
  • Conduct proactive system health checks and preventive maintenance activities
  • Manage incident response and coordinate with stakeholders during critical issues
Problem Management & Analysis
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in pre-production and production environments
  • Perform comprehensive root cause analysis as part of structured problem management
  • Conduct detailed Pega log analysis and debugging using enterprise monitoring tools
  • Document solutions and maintain knowledge base for recurring issues
Release & Deployment Operations
  • Execute application deployments via Pega Deployment Manager following ITIL processes
  • Coordinate release activities across multiple environments (Pre-Prod, Production)
  • Manage deployment schedules and communicate with business stakeholders
  • Perform post-deployment verification and rollback procedures when necessary

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Please ensure you meet the following before applying:

You are specifically interested in an Operations role, not development
You have a Pega CSA certification
You have experience with production support and troubleshooting
You understand this role focuses on monitoring, deployment, and operational activities


Must-have knowledge and experience

Certifications & Training
  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) - Mandatory
  • ITIL Foundation certification OR commitment to complete within 6 months of start date
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management)
Technical Skills
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application operations and support
  • Strong knowledge of Pega architecture, rule resolution, and system administration
  • Experience with Pega Deployment Manager and environment management
  • Proficiency in log analysis, debugging, and performance troubleshooting
Operational Skills
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and alerting systems (PDC, Splunk)
  • Knowledge of production support processes and incident management
  • Understanding of deployment pipelines and release management
  • Familiarity with change management and approval processes
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Pega on-premise infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and API management
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, automated testing frameworks)
  • Experience in financial services or banking applications
