Duties

What you’ll be working on

Andea is a global MES/APS software integrator of systems like DELMIA Apriso and DELMIA Ortems. Our software solutions have helped companies like CoorsTek, Bombardier, or Sierra Nevada Corporation to better track, manage and optimize their production processes.

We are currently looking for someone to support our projects in the DACH region.

A Consultant who has both technical knowledge and excellent language skills. We are looking for someone who is great at working with clients. Someone who is not afraid to advise, consult, and support.

As the APS consultant, you will be responsible for implementing APS solutions as per design requirements to support clients’ production planning processes. Some of your daily activities will include:

• Participating in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and developing requirements specifications documentation.

• Supporting the Solution Architect in providing creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices.

• Defining the required hardware and software requirements needed to install the APS solution at the client’s locations.

• Performing APS software installations and configurations, supporting the validation and testing of the solution, and capturing user feedback.

• Supporting data management and data integration-related activities.

• Identifying and evaluating potential project risks during the tender and project realization phases, as well as reporting the status of completed tasks.

• Providing technical and functional APS solution training to customers.

• Participating in training programs as necessary, both within the country and abroad.

• Adhering to the project delivery schedule and budget.

• Supporting the post-project review process.

You won’t be working on your own, and you won’t be left to your own devices as soon as the onboarding process is complete either - you’ll be a part of a larger team including a Solution Architect, project manager, and other APS consultants, with each member on different seniority levels and plenty of experience to support you when needed.

Required skills

What you will bring along

• Experience in implementing APS, ERP, or MES implementation

• Windows desktop and server operation systems (Advance User)

• Understanding of the enterprise software/B2B high tech industry

• Fluent knowledge of German allowing for smooth business conversation with clients
• Very good command of the English language, both speaking and writing

• Excellent client relationship management and organizational skills

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment

Even better if you also:

• Master's degree in the field of computer science (or similar)
• Have great communication and time management skills
• Are an effective problem solver, able to think critically to arrive at the best possible solution
• Are a team player with strong work ethics

You’ll begin your journey with Andea with an onboarding process designed to bring you in on the SQL and Apriso software. In terms of ongoing training, we provide opportunities to learn more about our databases (ORACLE and MS SQL), production processes, and other relevant technologies and tools we use daily.
