Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) using Kubernetes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate workflows, develop CI/CD pipelines, and streamline service integration
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure infrastructure is optimized for reliability and efficiency
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Implement cloud-based security practices and ensure compliance with infrastructure best practices
• Leverage monitoring systems to ensure high availability and effective issue detection
• Drive the adoption of new technology and processes to continuously improve system capabilities
• Manage deployments and rollbacks, ensuring smooth release cycles
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in deployment pipelines to enhance overall delivery speed
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative development environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure, EKS, and Kubernetes
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Background in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, and IAM, with strong hands-on cloud deployment experience
• Skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management
• Competency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Understanding of monitoring and logging frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on agile methodologies and product delivery goals
• Fluency in English, with a minimum B1+/B2 level for effective communication

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-driven technologies and their applications within high-performance platforms
• Understanding of innovative tools or processes, such as Windsurf
• Skills in designing and deploying data-intensive applications on cloud infrastructure
