JOB DESCRIPTION

It's more than a job

In this IT role, you will manage, develop, and support the technology infrastructure that powers Kuehne+Nagel’s global systems and operations. This contribution is vital to making both special and ordinary moments in the lives of people a reality. In fact, your work enables our teams to deliver fresh fruit, time-sensitive healthcare products and much more to people all around the world. Working in IT at Kuehne+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine.

We're looking for a senior Product Owner/Manager to take over the ownership of our Customer Visibility Platform — a 5-year-old product that gives our Transport & Logistics customers real-time insight into their shipments: location tracking, condition monitoring, and related data services. The platform has a strong foundation and an established customer base. Your mission is to keep the innovation pace, challenge the roadmap with fresh, out-of-the-box thinking, and turn ideas into shipped, value-adding features — working daily with a distributed dev team and closely with our Implementation and Customer Management colleagues.

How you create impact

  • Own the product backlog and roadmap for the Customer Visibility Platform, balancing innovation with delivery reliability
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the dev team
  • Work daily with a cross-functional, engineering team (frontend, backend, DevOps) — prioritizing, unblocking, and reviewing delivered work
  • Partner closely with Implementation and Customer Management teams to gather feedback, scope new value-added services, and ensure smooth rollout to customers
  • Identify and prototype new features (e.g. new data/insight services, alerting, analytics) that extend the platform's value proposition
  • Occasionally engage with Cx-level stakeholders to present roadmap updates and secure buy-in for new initiatives
  • Monitor product usage and customer feedback to continuously refine priorities

What we would like you to bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership, ideally on a data/SaaS or B2B digital platform
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic level (roadmap, stakeholder alignment) and tactical level (backlog grooming, agile ceremonies) — strong Product Ownership skills are a must; broader Product Management exposure is a plus
  • Proven experience working directly with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum setup
  • Good stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders when needed, even if this isn't a daily occurrence
  • Excellent communication skills in English; comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed, multi-location team
  • Curious, autonomous, and comfortable challenging the status quo to drive innovation
  • Experience in Transport & Logistics, supply chain visibility, or IoT/tracking data is a strong plus, but not mandatory

Who we are

Logistics shapes everyday life - from the goods we consume to the healthcare we rely on. At Kuehne+Nagel, your work goes beyond logistics; it enables both ordinary and special moments in the lives of people around the world.

As a global leader with a strong heritage and a vision to move the world forward, we offer a safe, stable environment where your career can make a real difference. Whether we help deliver life-saving medicines, develop sustainable transportation solutions or support our local communities, your career will contribute to more than you can imagine.

We kindly advise that placement agencies refrain from submitting unsolicited profiles. Any submissions of candidates without prior signed agreement will be considered our property and no fees will be paid.
