Consultant – Process Transformation
Location: Sandomierz or neighbouring cities (Kraków / Warsaw)
Work Pattern: On-site presence required daily or a minimum of 3 days per week
Contract: Fixed-term contract (FTC) – 6 months
Salary: GBP 35,000 per annum (pro-rata for the contract duration)
Experience: 5–7 years’ experience delivering process transformation projects

Role Purpose
The Consultant – Process Transformation will support and lead initiatives aimed at improving finance and enterprise processes, operating models, and service delivery. The role spans Finance and adjacent functions including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), HR, Procurement, and IT.

The focus is on driving efficiency, standardisation, automation, and control improvements through structured transformation methodologies. This role requires strong analytical capability, effective stakeholder management, and hands-on experience across finance transformation, shared services, or large-scale process improvement programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement

  • Support end-to-end finance process transformation initiatives, including process redesign, standardisation, and optimisation.
  • Conduct current-state (AS-IS) assessments and facilitate future-state (TO-BE) process design workshops.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities across finance value chains.
  • Develop detailed process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), RACI matrices, and control frameworks.

Operating Model & Shared Services

  • Support the design and implementation of finance operating models, including shared services, centres of excellence (CoEs), and retained organisations.
  • Assist with transitions and migrations to shared services or BPOs, including knowledge transfer and stabilisation support.
  • Define service catalogues, SLAs, KPIs, and governance models for finance operations.

Automation & Digital Enablement

  • Identify and assess opportunities for automation using RPA, workflow tools, and ERP enhancements.
  • Work closely with technology teams on ERP implementations or optimisations (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday).
  • Support the development of business cases for automation and digital initiatives, including benefits tracking.

Stakeholder Management & Delivery

  • Work closely with finance leadership, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver transformation outcomes.
  • Support project management activities including planning, tracking, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Prepare high-quality, client-ready deliverables, presentations, and reports.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Embed appropriate financial controls and compliance requirements into redesigned processes.
  • Support audit readiness and ensure alignment with SOX and internal control frameworks where applicable.

  • Strong understanding of Finance, HR, IT, and Procurement processes
  • Finance transformation and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Shared services and Global Business Services (GBS) models
  • Process documentation and controls design
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Qualifications

  • CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance or Operations) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above) is an advantage

Pay: 15,000.00zł - 20,000.00zł per month
