About the project:

Within the cluster DBK the development teams provides new digital products and solutions direct for the customer of the Bank. You will develop new frontends, modules or interfaces for these products in close co-operation with business analysts and application operation experts of your team.

Cluster Daily Banking (DBK) delivers fast, client-focused Daily Banking products and services for online channel. Our main products are around everything what is needed for our private customer on online channel.

By using J2EE, REST and SOAP APIs, React.js, Apache Wicket, Appache Kafka, we are developing in the environment of Cross Channel Banking (CCB).

What you will be doing?

• You wil be one of the experts in the team/cluster responsible for application management aspects, i.e. aligning and addressing application operation needs with development and business expert, ensuring compliance of software deliveries to operations guidelines and policies, etc. For this the role requires a combination of application management experience and good understanding of technology used (Azure, webserver and database technologies)
• Preparing software builds and release packages and deploy them, i.e. participating in the preparation and implementation of changes to the given environment. Support the rollouts in production
• You will be performing the test- and deployment process for new or released applications and interfaces. Test and validation of deployment packages
• You will monitor and maintain stable operation of production. In case of minor deviations or issues you will initiate appropriate correction measures as defined.
• Creation and management of technical documentation
• Operations monitoring (from 8 am to 16:30pm)
• Handling of changes/inicidents/problems with HP Service Manager (hpsm)

Additional tasks:

• Get involved in driving the used technology forward (e.g. implementation of CI/CD framework
• Preparing software builds and release packages

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud (ARM templates)
• Strong understanding of Docker/Openshift/Kuberntes
• Knowledge of Linux, Bash, powershell
• Good knowledge of CI/CD

Nice to have:

• Oracle knowledge
