We are seeking an ML Tech Lead who will join the Research Center of our Core Business unit.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented ML engineers, MLOps, and Developers and supporting them in selecting the right methods for the right tasks. The main areas of influence will be marketing, moderation, support teams, and the chatbot side of the business. While we have a vision for the upcoming year, you will also be free to propose ideas and follow your own plan. From a technical perspective, you will be able to apply algorithms from various ML directions, including classic ML, optimization algorithms, recommendation systems, LLM, and image generation models, with a primary focus on NLP.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Leading the team of ML engineers, MLOps, and ML developers;
  • Facilitating and maintaining cross-functional collaboration with project owners, analytics, and ML, staying up to date with state-of-the-art solutions in the field;
  • Helping the team define the best approach for implementation;
  • Defining the roadmap;
  • Working closely with leaders across various business functions to increase visibility of the department.

We expect from you:

  • Proven track record in the AI sphere with a history of successful projects. At least 5+ years in the industry, including at least 1 year of leadership experience (managing a team of 3 people is essential);
  • Deep knowledge of main ML algorithms and state-of-the-art models;
  • Proficiency in programming languages for data science: Python, R, SQL, and any other relevant languages;
  • Experience in full end-to-end AI product development and MLOps;
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
