Metsä Group Services in Gdańsk is looking for
PAYROLL SPECIALIST
for permanent position. We offer an interesting and independent job in an energetic and international environment in a Shared Service Center in Gdańsk.
What is the job that awaits you?
  • Ensuring payroll input and output is complete and accurate (data accuracy, reconciliation of payroll reports prior to transmission to processing and payment),
  • Ensuring payroll is processed completely, timely and in accordance with applicable legislation,
  • Close and effective cooperation with payroll provider,
  • Manage employee queries related to payroll and act as a single point of contact for all payroll related issues,
  • Being in charge of payroll process, social fund, etc.,
  • PPK and employee benefits administration,
  • Continuous process maintenance and improvement.
What are we expecting of you:
  • Very good knowledge of labor law, tax and social insurance,
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of payroll,
  • Well versed with Microsoft tools, especially Excel (VLOOKUP is a must),
  • Business fluency in English,
  • Strong customer service orientation: the ability to explain payroll components to our employees, communication skills, familiarity with ticketing tools
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking and the ability to solve potential payroll problems,
  • Ability to work under pressure,
  • Previous work experience in SSC / BPO company,
  • SAP HCM and Workday systems proficiency will be an asset.
