We’re looking for an Tax Operations Specialist to join our Center of Excellence Treasury Operations team in Łódż .

As a Tax Operations specialist you’ll be responsible for strengthen Compliance including guidance, monitoring and audits. Make sure that the Signify indirect tax returns are in accordance with the applicable legislation and to have accounting integrity for the VAT/GST accounts within Signify. You will act as a Business Partner.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll be monitoring the VAT/GST, ESL, Intrastat processes for mainly PL and other countries in EMEA
  • You’ll manage approval for Indirect Tax return (for EMEA also EC Sales List/Purchase list/Intrastat report/Foreign Tax return/ Country specific reporting)
  • You’ll arrange Payments to authorities and Initiate corrections in VAT reporting /invoicing
  • You’ll be responsible for the Fiscal Change Process (IT): Collect and raise Fiscal Change Requests, Monitor/perform UAT
  • You’ll take necessary action in the process of Monitoring/closing ICS VAT related controls including reconciliation

What you’ll need

  • You are graduated with bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or have a related experience
  • You already have at least 3 years of experience in Tax operations more especially with Polish VAT
  • You are fluent in English and Polish
  • You are eager to drive Continuous Process improvements (AP/AR/RTR/filing)
