About the position

As a Junior Demand Planner you will be responsible for assisting in the forecasting of product demand ensuring the optimal balance between supply and demand for dedicated portfolio. Close and cross-functional cooperation with sales, finance, marketing, trade marketing and supply chain will be very important.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation of short-term and long-term 18 month rolling demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, sell out and business intelligence.
  • Weekly forecast corrections ensuring no consecutive BIAS error and reaching FA/FB targets.
  • Timely and effective life cycle management, coordination of PIPO, cross functional communication of inventory, productions, relaunch dates.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular KPI reports forecast accuracy, bias, obsoletes and data analysis i.e. seasonal patterns.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to monitor stock levels, ensuring adequate product availability while minimizing excess inventory. Regular reporting and coordinating actions aiming short shelf-life products sell in with no/limited cost impact for the Organization.
  • Assist Senior Market Demand planner with demand reviews, forecast errors highlights preparation.
  • Facilitate regular reporting and Excel based tool simplification improving efficiency of their cross functional usage.
  • Master data IBP management.
  • Help identify areas for improvement in demand forecasting and planning activities.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Min. 1 year experience in Supply Chain with preference areas of Demand/ Supply/Production planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of demand planning software (e.g., SAP, JDA, APO) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Polish and English, both spoken and written.
