This role is responsible for full-cycle vendor management to include outreach, collection of and tracking signed agreements, relationship maintenance, and communications to ensure ongoing engagement. The coordinator will gather information regarding vendor services and pricing to ensure internal database accuracy.
- Source & Procure Vendors: Target, identify, screen and recruit target prospective vendor partners
This will be approximately 50% of duties in year one, and will move to maintenance (approx 10%) in subsequent years - Create and maintain support tools and materials to manage and track Vendors using resources such as Google Workspace applications, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Conduct qualification process of contractor/partners including completed application/compliance information and background data (service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.)
- Use negotiation skills with current and prospective Vendors
- Work collaboratively with the team to build and maintain a solid, trusted database of contractor/partners
- Develop and maintain vendor process documentation
- Ensures accuracy, completeness, timeliness and on-going management of master data entry in multiple systems
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Computer skills in MS Office, MS OneNote, Google Workspace
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- CRM system/environment experience preferred or ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent follow-up, communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Position requires a team player, positive proactive attitude and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Prefer candidates with experience in vendor management
