The role will carry out negotiations and contract for cross segment, cross regional spends in defined Digital Technologies categories. The role's scope will allow the category teams to focus on the most strategic activities. The sourcing of this spend will be aligned to the defined category strategies.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Negotiating Technology Software, Hardware and Services contracts on behalf of Mars Digital Technologies organization - cross regional.

• Contracting to be aligned to category strategies managed by the Digital Technologies Procurement team.

• Provide the first line of escalation on issues between suppliers and the business - cross regional

• Conduct negotiations and supplier relationship management for in scope Digital Technology categories and spend thresholds for requisitions - cross regional.

• Secures price, capacity & service levels in line with commitments to the business.

• Ensures effective risk management of the supply base, through robust contracts and monitoring of financial and other KPIs. Implements corrective actions as appropriate.

• Establishes & maintains relationships with key stakeholders and their teams to ensure understanding of their needs and to facilitate the appropriate level of challenge.

• Communicates business risk & opportunity.

• Provide support to Buyers & requisitioners, other MGS (Mars Global Service) departments and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders on cross regional level on defining business requirements to be Incorporated into SOWs.

• Be an extended member of the DT Procurement team.

• Provide insights to category team regarding supplier performance and opportunities within ad hoc purchasing trends.

• Collaborate with MCS Source to Pay managers, content team and category managers to develop optimal buying channels to transact with supply base.

• Identify system process Improvements with systems and process for FE assessment.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply, procurement, or related field.

• 3+ years of procurement experience, with good stakeholder interaction skills.

• Ideally tech savvy, with a strong desire to learn.

• Must be a team player who executes with a sense of urgency.

• Previous contracting experience is nice to have.

• Fluent in English is a must.
