First thing in the morning a toolbox talk would take place to identify any issues which may arise during that day such as urgent requirements and any customer visits that may be taking place plus any issues there may be regarding health and safety
At this point all outstanding emails would be checked to make sure all project engineers were brought up to date with any issues which may concern them
The rest of the day would be spent doing hands on maintenance and making sure the workshop was running smoothly as well as dealing with any enquiries which may arise during the day
The variation of work and responsibilities kept the job interesting and I would not have left this job but for the promise of more challenges in a new position
Not very good at man management.you get home one day from offshore then they phone you after a day or 2 to go back offshore when you are supposed to have your either 2 or 3 weeks leave. In my opinion DONT work for them , and there is always a battle to get your expenseses for doing courses in your time off.
No two days are the same for me, and I feel I flourish in this type of working environment. Keen to learn and striving to succeed, I take pride in my people skills and ability to develop and maintain working relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
