The platform used to be better. Materials are interesting, but still need to be improved. Main disadvantage would be low salary. Management is pretty good.

Extremely low salary. Management cares only about customer satisfaction forgetting about teachers. The school works with rules that make no sense and often are ridiculous.

A springboard company to start a teaching career

Skyeng is nice company in terms of management and attitude towards teachers. The working hours are rather flexible- you can take as many students as you want. On the flip side, the salary is sufficient for living only in Ukraine and if you have another job. Teaching materials are quite few (just for a handful of lessons for a specific level) and are poorly developed. To sum up, if you need an easy company to start your teaching career smoothly and gain some traction, Skyeng will serve you well.

Been happy to work for the company: nice platform, truly amazing students, responsive technical service. Once startup has grown up to be a global cloud education player among other juggernauts, hope the company will soon benefit the population thanks to an online format of education.

It was a pleasure to work with students using premade English courses in my free time (it was a combining job), but the company's policy towards salary payment turned out to be unfair.
