Stock listed company that needs better management
Radpol is a an explosive mixture of Soviet times working environment, chaotic although sincere efforts to make it more productive, financial tricks for the sake of stock exchange needs and a carousel of changing managers. The top managers need more humility both in relations with customers and with its own workers to be able to expand the company.
It was a hard job with a lot of travelling which I liked and with quite an amount of huge reports, plans and other data that were useful for the financial department but totally omitted the core of the profitable activity - which I did not like.
I worked with people from 5 different locations that had very different atitude to work. It was not easy to make them work as a team. Besides, there was some hostility among the factories especially when changes were introduced. However, the workers in general were helpful and productive, especially at the factory where I was based.
I learned how it is to work for a stock listed company and how to deal with multinational companies which I really apreciate.
Nearly free hand in operational activities
Often changed presidents and managers
