Ok to work for but pay wasnt very good. Management was mid and didnt fix any problems. Over all three out of ten. great to build experience but thats about it

short shifts

shorter shifts than other warehouses, 8 hr shifts, great coworkers, boss was nice and supportive, pay could have been better than what it was but its around a small town

Best thing is medical benefits

A lot of favoritism, Associates from the south are treated better than the ones that live here and don't have to follow the same policies as the original Associates. They constantly promote people that aren't qualified due to lack of people and set them up to fail.

Fun co workers, relaxed,

Love driving forklift to do my job at the time.. our manager was laid back & easy to get along with most days. Everyone usually showed up for work so didn't have to cover for the slackers

not very trust worthy, back stabbing, does not tell the truth, stealing from the company, leadership needs some serious work, does nto know how to treat people

Typical work place

You are just a warm body. It would have been nice for a mentor to have been assigned to me. Instead you get 15 secs of instruction then left on your own.

The company was good and fair.

Nex Transport was a good job. You worked long hours, lots of overtime, a lot of Saturdays if production is off. The management is fair. They do offer health insurance, just don’t get sick. It’s a job

Fast paced

I personally loved working at nex. I learned a lot and felt good about my job. I didn't miss work cause I enjoyed my job. They don't tolerate absentism .

they hired me and several people and due to other people's problems they fired me and another person unfairly and threw us out on the street since they paid us the rent for 3 months and they pretended that in less than 3 days they would return me to where I lived that it is not here in Ohio after I sold everything and they assured me a good job.

Good job

NEX offers the chance to succeed and advance if you show the ability to learn and be flexible. Pay is good and benefits are as well. Lots of good people to work with and for.

This company is terrible to its employees

It was just a paycheck, but it was barely worth the drive to work. Managers are selfish, only see you as a body to complete a task they don't want to do. Pay is abysmal, not worth the workload expected of you. There's plenty other places to work in the area, don't waste your time.

Work load is easy

I wear a harness and drive a high bay picker around, picking parts and packing them into orders for customers. Work is very easy. Turnover is extremely high due to constant changes in wages. Wages are not liveable for a family of two or more. Typical corporate political system. The team leads, supers, managers, admins and other employees are all easy to get along with. Only downside.. (MAJOR downside) is the pay.

Quick to Dismiss

While the pay, benefits and steady hours were a draw, once there was a medical issue I was rapidly dismissed. I never worked a forklift, but with a little classroom training, they throw you right onto dangerous machines, even if you tell them you have a slight disability with vertical and disorientation in certain situations. They refused to place me elsewhere since I was a man of intelligence, sighting that males do machinery and I'm too of sound mind to be on a non-machine job. They gave me the runaround to see their clinic, then my doctor, then their clinic again, then to my doctor, then to an expensive physical therapist, then back to my doctor, only to release me. I ran into a co-worker there after I was dismissed, and he went through something similar for a stroke. The environment is very serious, fast-paced, cliquish, and not very inclusive for a diverse work population. Racial and sexist slurs abound, sadly. The turnarounds (per the hiring woman in Human Resources) is 9.5 for every 10 hired. The permanent sign out front is a dead giveaway of the turnover they go through. Avoid!

Good job

It's a good job but you never know when you get off of work. The work is pretty easy to do. You make good money and get shutdowns paid and vacation days

Bad experience

Management treats you like garbage. If you do not sleep with a higher up you dont move up. Some people in management or office position barely speak basic english. They do not live up to their promises.

It's a job not the best but it will pay the Bill's and put food on the table but dont expect to make good money there unless your some big wig or high up

Fast Paced and Exciting Place to Work

Dedicated work force and management team. Experience is key within the business and there is plenty of experience everywhere within the company. Good management and good team members.

If you're not in the click your chances of getting promoted are nill, if you are not fluent in Spanish or willing to kiss up to those that are you stand a zero chance of advance

It’s was a great job

I had a management team that listened to me and worked with me on issues that I was having and all the employees worked well with one another. Great atmosphere.
