Planta saltillo estruras , me dejó un mal sabor de boca, malos procesos . Se trabaja como el viejo lear
División estructuras , es algo complicado ya que los números no son los reales , siempre se maquillan números y accidentes
I was with the company for almost 2 years and was at 2 different facilities. The first two probation periods, I had no problems and was able to do my job to their expectations and did extra when they wanted it. The last probation period I was terminated right before Christmas. I was not given any warning and I had reached out for help in multiple ways. If you are not able to make the seats the way they want them right away, they find a way to get rid of you as soon as they can with a reason that puts it on you, not them. Management is biased, no flexibility for those needing extra help during probation. Union can only step in once you are official. Many people are terminated before their probation is complete.
Union company, decent pay
Lear corp was a decent job.it is union so it has its ups and downs.it was a 6 day work week and sometimes 7 but you were compensated for it well. Not much of family life tho working 3rd shift.
Pay and free health insurance for employee and family
6 day work week and sometimes 7 and it’s union
The company has a lot of potential, installations are new, great equipment, nice coworkers, unfortunately the launch of the new site was poorly planned so it has been hard to overcome many issues that come from it's design and launch phase, production department lacks of quality mindset and discipline, until the floor changes their culture, all other department major efforts won't accomplish much.
good coworkers, great location, new site with A/C
long hours, living fighting fires, discipline on the floor
You can get mandated to work 12hrs with no notice. People are disrespectful and rude. The Union only looks out for certain people. You work almost every weekend. Also, you can get bumped to any shift with little to no warning.
You are off every holiday and get a week off for Christmas
No work home life balance
Worked there 7 years and do not miss it. Fast paced, stressful at times, management, union and HR doesnt really care about workers. Good place to get some work experience, work with your hands and $ but is hard on the body. Best part of the job was definitely the money. Hardest part of the job was the LACK of rotation and the more labor intensive jobs were consistently done by the same people.
experience and $, 401k
management, Hr, union, lack of rotation
Unfair upper management. harassment Dont work there unless you like high school drama! Unfair schedule work every weekend no time for lunch is like 30 mins but it feels like 12 mins. They have many COVID cases and still have people coming in to work.
Short lunches unfair schedules work every weekend
I came here straight from uni and was able to learn so much in my time here. Management is always supportive and backs you when working with the customer. A lot of opportunity to learn. One complaint is there is a lack of communication in cross-functional teams (i.e. e-systems/structures/trim) where it can be hard to get support. Overall a good place to start a career, might not be the best place to advance your career unless you plan to stay for the long haul.
