KFC as a company only think about the top managers. The company don't think about the junior staff, the top executive only think of their welfare. There is no fun at KFC, one have to work with less staff and end with stressed.
Yes free lunch.
Less hours minimum pay
Kfc minchinbury use to be a fun place to work at but due to the new managers it’s either you work 30+ hours a week with no work/life balance or barely any shifts. Managers are toxic and will verbally abuse you
Fun team members
Fast paced, friendly environment, and a good place to grow and develop experience in the work force. I applied in person, met with the manager and had an interview right away the next day. Met incredible people, and had the opportunity to have a flexible schedule so that I can continue going to school. Finished high school and continued with college classes. I recommend this as a job not a career.
Bad place dont care about your wellbeing. If you do anything wrong straight on your case and don't give you a chance to fix that mistake. Training is not good dont get trained to a standard which then effects you later on.Good is if you show your effort you can move up to management quickly.Pay is minimum wage Get pressured
£5 staff meal
Run off your feet, abuse of staff/managment and customers
● Work-life balanceThey help with College a little.● Pay & benefitsPay is below living expectancy. Pay is not realistic for the rising cost of living etc● Job security and advancementLook elsewhere● ManagementAvoid at all costs.● OverallThe staff is usually careless, portions are small, excessive favoritism among certain employees. They always say that they can do this or that to a order but they really can.
Not a very good place to work at , regardless of first job or last job ! They treat staff like mud. Makes management do free hours and doesn’t get any recognition. Very dodgy with there food and safety procedures. Expect too much out of teenage workers , pushing them too there limits and always picks out “ what hasn’t been done” when a busy day/night has come .
You get a free meal from time too time . Make meaningful relationships with colleagues.
Underpay, getting treated like your not good enough .
Working for KFC is great. The pay definitely isn't great, but, the job is easy. You make plenty of friends working in KFC, and you are allowed to enjoy yourself while working. Probably the most fun job I've had to date.
Fun. Easy. Flexible.
Great stepping stone, hard-work but builds character. Good team-building culture. There is definitely room for progression and hard-work is rewarded. Customer-oriented environment aids in the development of key skills.
Fast paced always something to do. Able to have banter on shifts whilst smashing out orders. Can create a winning atmosphere where you just smash chicken and low DT times out. You will never know how satisfying it is to bread up a 2 head and see it come out all yummy.
From borderline bullying to extreme pressure applied by the management team, this is not a good place to work. There is no consideration when it comes to balancing work and personal life.
Free food, staff meals etc. Friendly co-workers. Job itself isnt too hard.
Managment team is irresponsible, No patience for new staff, Enviroment of workplace is like a school due to all the drama.
Some amazing days but some very hard days. Flexible and fast paced environment. You can make great friends there. Prefer external candidates than an internal development.
