Costa is all about coffee and we get a kick out of serving the best we can.
We keep things simple and inclusive so there’s no pretension, no elitism and very few dos and don’ts. (this means slurpers are welcome, we find dunkers divine and a dab of froth on a customers nose makes our day.)
The roots of Costa Coffee are in family. Brothers Bruno and – więcej...Sergio Costa set up as a Roastery in 1971, and opened their first coffee shop in London four years later.
From tiny beans great big Mochas grow(!), and we’re now the country’s favourite coffee shop, with over 2,400 cafés in the UK, over 1,400 stores in 32 international markets and over 9,000 Costa Express self-serve units.
Maybe it’s because we’re coffee people, but we really value a feeling of warmth in our teams and in our communities. We encourage trust, and empower our people to feel supported and make their own decisions. And we love a can-do attitude, boldness and the courage to create positive change.
Some companies spout this kind of froth but don’t back it up in their actions, but at Costa Coffee we’re genuine. We really mean what we say, and we’re committed to our people, our customers and our growth plans.
